A Unforgettable Night at the Opera
When the occasion calls for something truly special, we craft all the elements to produce an exceptional celebration.
Not long ago, a palace concierge called us with a special request. A VIP guest couple had a birthday to celebrate, and they wanted something out of the ordinary. This is the kind of project we love: the chance to use our network and all our creativity to produce an occasion to remember forever.
We contacted our friends at AROP (The Friends of the Paris Opera) to start putting in place the elements of the event. The Swedish contemporary ballet “Play” was on the programme – a perfect fit for the taste of the client. Now the question was how to elevate the experience into something extraordinary.
Collaborating with AROP, we created something they had never done before – a fully privatized experience for two at the Opera Garnier. The evening began with a private backstage visit, followed by a glass of Champagne in the Salon de l’Empereur, the private viewing box made for Napoleon III. After the first part of “Play”, the clients enjoyed an intermission cocktail at the stunning sculpture “Bassin de la Pythie” in the Opera’s foyer, beneath the Grand Staircase.
After the performance came the evening’s pièce de résistance: a gastronomic three-course dinner in the Salon Liebermann, a private room connecting to the Grand Foyer with views onto the Place and avenue de l’Opera.
Exclusive access, in-depth knowledge, attention to detail and dedication to elegance: these are the elements of Secret Journeys’ bespoke private experiences. Anything is possible.
